Linda Merkel resides on a farm in central Massachusetts with her husband Glenn and their three children, Bradford, Brent and Kimberly. Bradford is 17 years old, going to be a senior in High School, works part time and volunteers for the local fire department. Brent and Kimberly are twins. They are 14 years old and currently going into 9th grade. Brent plays the violin and Kimberly plays piano and clarinet. Both Brad and Kimberly possess mom's gift of being psychic. Linda's husband Glenn works for a large bank and has learned to always ask his wife's "psychic side" for advice. Being married to a psychic medium always rubs off. The Merkel family has four cats and five birds, needless to say the house is always busy. It wasn't until Linda had undergone many tragedies in life including losing her fiancee to accidental death and suffering from cancer, that she realized her psychic mediumship was an integral, important part of her life's work. When Linda was a child she used to talk to her brother Jimmy constantly. Well, it wasn't until in her thirties that she got curious and asked about her mother's pregnancy while carrying her. Her mother responded that she was supposed to be a twin, but that she had hemorraghed during her first few months of pregnancy. To Linda, Jimmy was always real. She did not realize that there was a difference until she was older. After she lost her fiancee and was aware of his daily presence, the spiritual world took on a much greater meaning. Compounded with losing her beloved grandfather, grandmother and father, she was surrounded by their loving spirit to help guide her through the trials of life. It was then that she realized she should share her psychic gift with others in order to help them. She is a firm believer in the power of prayer and was raised Catholic. Although religion caused conflict, she knew that her gift was a direct gift from God and that she should use it to help heal God's children. She has been giving readings from her home for the past fifteen years and now hopes to expand her loving spirit to a greater audience.
